Mewtwo revealed as DLC for Smash Bros

By on 7:42 AM

There was a new Nintendo Direct today, and a ton of new info got revealed about the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. But the most exciting thing was a newly revealed playable character. No, not Bowser Jr: Mewtwo!
Returning for the first time since Melee, Mewtwo will be offered as a free DLC reward for those who buy both versions of Super Smash Bros. He won’t be available right away though, as according to the Direct he’s “still in development.” Thus he should be available in Spring of 2015. There’s no word on whether or not he’ll be available for purchase seperately for those who don’t want to buy both versions of the game.
Are you guys excited about this? I know I am, Mewtwo has always been one of my favorite Pokemon! Do you think you’ll be using him in Smash Tours, or the 8-Player Smash?
